Camerota Reman Warranty Schedule

All Camerota Reman products are warranted against defects in our workmanship and materials in accordance with the schedules and limitations outlined in this warranty guide. The warranty period begins from the original invoice date. All product warranties are transferable and for unlimited mileage. *Note: 30-Day warranty must be approved by the Gear Shop Manager. For a 30-Day warranty to apply, the customer must agree and receive all recommended repairs. Warranty Repair Must be directly related to original complaint / repair.

Terms and Conditions

  • All Warranty claims must be assigned a claim number and repair or replacement instructions provided by an authorized representative from the warranty department at Camerota Truck Parts (CTP) prior to ANY work being performed.
  • No benefits or remedies are available under this limited warranty while the invoice for the unit or related services remains outstanding
  • Unless expressly provided otherwise, the exclusive remedy under this warranty shall be the repair or replacement of the defective part at CTP’s option. The buyer agrees that CTP shall not be liable for special, incidental, direct, indirect, or consequential damages of any kind, including but not limited to lost profits, sales, income, towing charges, unauthorized repairs, or injury to person or property.
  • This warranty will end after the expiration of time from the date of the original invoice. Any repairs or replacements will not extend the warranty. The buyer will be responsible forr all defects thereafter, regardless of cause.
  • Any labor expense for field repairs, removal, and replacement must be done at a repair facility, and approved by an authorized representative from the warranty department at CTP. Labor hours will be paid ONLY after the failed unit has been returned and inspected at the Camerota facility in Enfield, CT, and the cause of failure has been determined to be a warrantable failure according to the manufacturer’s guidelines. Labor hours will be paid at a $100.00 rate and determined ONLY in accordance with Motor’s Labor time guides. Labor time for Off-Highway units will be determined by the manufacturer’s guidelines, and have a maximum of 20 labor hours considered.

Exclusions

The exclusions to this Camerota warranty generally reflect the same exclusions as the original manufacturer.

Failures caused by the following will NOT be covered under this warranty:

  • Overfilled, low, lack of, or wrong lubricant
  • Contamination caused by water, glycol/anti-freeze, sand, salt or any other foreign debris
  • Shock Load, Spin-Out Failures
  • Lack of Maintenance; Abuse; Improper Operation
  • Improper Installation, including, but not limited to, misadjusted cables, modulators, shifters, clutches, linkage, and not using the proper torque procedures
  • Malfunctioning unit control accessories, including, but not limited to, electronic control modules, sensors, wiring, ABS systems, that may affect the proper operation of the product.
  • Failures caused by defective external parts including, but not limited to, coolers, cooling fan, cooling components, motor or transmission mounts, worn or misaligned driveshaft components, misadjusted ride height, suspension, pilot bearings, bushings, kingpins, tie rods, drag links, pitman arms, steering column shafts, restricted or faulty oil supply, feed or return hoses, air lines, cooler lines, and filters
  • Operation in excess of original design limitations, including, but not limited to, overloading, shock loading, or spin out
  • Applications such as towing / plowing may cause a change in warranty time period
  • Power washing, or over-greasing of a steering gear causing a seal failure
  • Failures caused by poor or modified engine performance, drive train, or suspension modifications, including oversized tires orgear ratio changes
  • Any unit failure determined to be from vibration or torsional vibration
  • Input / Output seal problems after 7 days from the date of sale
  • Breakage of gears or synchronizer pins
  • Failure to perform proper cleaning, flushing or replacement of a cooler, as per the O.E.M. in all on-and-off-highway applications
